Tim Lee Wade was born on August 4, 1980, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and passed away November 10, 2022, at his residence in Aubrey, Texas. Tim is survived by a loving family – his mother and dad, Debbie and Mike Wade, and his brother, Kenny Wade, whose family consists of Tim’s sister-in-law, Jill, and his nephew Garrett Wade, and niece Ellie Wade. He is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Suzanne Sherwood; his Grandfather, Wendell Ward, and on the Wade side, his Grandmother, Jewell Wade, and his Grandfather, Melvin Wade. He also has many aunts, uncles and cousins who love him dearly. Tim went to Trinity Christian Academy - Addison and was very active in sports – he was the Quarterback of the football team, and a Pitcher for the baseball team. He loved his time at TCA and carried many friendships forward from there. Tim was offered a scholarship in baseball at Southwest Texas University (now Texas State University), the “Bobcats,” and played as a starting-rotation pitcher for his first two years. He hurt his arm, and after two surgeries, his career ended. Tim’s other “love” was for his dog, Gracie, who preceded him in death. Tim was a vibrant, witty, sensitive guy who was always ready to make you laugh or help you out. Many of his acts of kindness were personal to him, and he wanted no “credit” for them. He has held many jobs, but his favorite was at StoneMark where he was a “superstar,” as in many other facets of his life. Tim’s “demon” was an addiction to pain pills, following the surgeries incurred in college. He fought the demons his whole life. On the other hand, he is not ever to be “known only” with this description, as he was a man of amazing character and worth. Tim loved the Savior, with whom he held a personal relationship. He led many men to Christ and praised Jesus in everything he did. As his parents, we are so confident we will see him again, one day appointed by Jesus, in Heaven.
