Billie Ruth Fox Butler, 76, of Collinsville, TX passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 in her home surrounded by love, prayers, laughter and her family singing all their favorite hymns. Billie was born January 30, 1939 in Hale, TX to John David Fox and Mary Ann (Kizer) Fox. Billie married Wilbur Butler, Jr. on May 23, 1956 in Ladonia,Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church Collinsville. Billie was born a natural mother and had a great love for her family. She was a faithful and loyal wife for almost 59 years and experienced God's abundant blessings upon their home and family. Her servant's heart was seen in her dedication as a homemaker and as Sunday school teacher who loved teaching her preschool class. Billie is survived by her husband, Wilbur of Collinsville, TX; one son, Matthew S. Butler of Port Angeles, WA; three daughters, Sheila K. Wolfe of Little Elm, TX, Gail A. Dansby and Teresa E. White, both of Van Alstyne, TX. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Other survivors include two sisters, Odessa Hill of Sherman, TX and Peggy Johnson of Midland, TX; two brothers, Jimmy Fox of Bonham, TX and Nolan Fox of Pilot Point, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Beverly Diann Butler Lane, three sisters, Molly Pendleton, Christine McCormick and Brenda Cobb; two brothers, Newman Fox and Herbert Fox. Visitation will be held from 7:00PM-8:30PM, Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Slay Memorial Funeral Center of Aubrey, TX. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, April 20, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Collinsville, TX. Burial will follow at Little Elm Cemetery in Little Elm, TX. Donations may be made to Youth Department First Baptist Church Collinsville. Services are under the direction of Terri Slay and Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, TX.
