Charles Franklin (Butch) Westbrook, Jr., 69, of Gainesville, TX, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 in Denton, TX. Butch was born June 13, 1952 in Lubbock, TX to Charles Franklin Westbrook Sr. and Dorothy Marie Tadlock. Butch married Kathy (Smith) Westbrook on June 5, 1971, in Mustang Community. Butch served proudly in the United States Army. Butch is survived by his wife, Kathy Westbrook of Gainesville, TX; son, Jamie Westbrook, and wife Christie of Marietta, OK; daughter, Chasity Liddell, and husband Robert of Thackerville, OK; four grandchildren, Bobby Liddell and Andrea Smith, Kayla Liddell, Kyndall Westbrook, and Brianna Westbrook; one great-grandchild, Kaston Liddell; brother, Michael Westbrook, and wife Delisa of Decatur, TX; sister, Tina Ferguson, and husband Kevin of Sanger, TX; and several nephews and nieces. Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Franklin, Sr., and Dorothy Westbrook. Visitation will be from 6:00PM-7:30PM, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Pilot Point, TX. A funeral service will be at 10:00AM, Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Pilot Point, TX with Jimmy Floyd Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, TX.
