Christopher Paul Casillas, 38, passed away on March 30, 2022, at his Pilot Point home. He was born on October 04, 1983, in Seymour, Texas to Lewis Casillas and Mary Helen (Acuna) Casillas. Chris was a coach with Pilot Point ISD working with special needs children, Pilot Point Youth Sports, and select baseball. He was an avid sports fan especially the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by his wife, Mitzi Garcia; mother, Mary Helen Zuniga and husband, Joe of Pilot Point; father, Lewis Casillas of Seymour, TX; children, Alex Patino of West Virginia, Albert Guevara of Pilot Point, Jacob Casillas of Pilot Point, Jacob Munoz of Gainesville, TX and Briannah Casillas of Pilot Point, TX; sister, Crystal McLemore and husband, Eric of Denton, TX; grandmother, Faye Chapman of Farmersville, TX; nieces and nephews, Kilian, Kinzi, Averi, Easton and Everli; and aunt, Amanda Miller and husband, Ryan of Seymore, TX. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 2:00PM-4:00PM at Slay Memorial Funeral Home in Pilot Point. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022, at 2:00PM at Green Valley Baptist Church, 9901 FM 428, Aubrey, TX 76227. Interment will follow at Pilot Point Community Cemetery.
