Laurent Antoine Santens

Laurent Antoine Santens, 53, of Providence Village, TX, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021. Laurent was born September 25, 1968 in Paris, France to Armel Robert and Elisabeth Denise (Ferrier) Santens. He lived in Canada until he was thirteen and lived in Chicago, IL until he was fifteen when he moved to North Dallas. Laurent graduated from Texas A&M in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and minor in French. He was an avid golfer and loved beautiful cars and Formula One racing. He also loved sports, fashion, Las Vegas, and the Wynn. After college, he worked for different banks and finally a mortgage company, where he met Debra, his future wife. Later in life he managed luxury residential buildings. He helped raise Debra’s two daughters, Kendyle and Kelsey. Debra passed three years ago of colon cancer and Laurent is at peace with her now. Laurent is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Santens of St. Petersburg, FL; two step-daughters, Kendyle Nelson of Denton, TX and Kelsey Beck of Sanger, TX; sister, Virginia Santens of Fountain Hills, AZ; three aunts, Evelyn Santens and husband Dominique Velasco of Longny-au-Perche, France, Anne Marie Bricout and husband Pierre of Paris, France, and Martine Dieudonné of Neuilly-sur-Seine, France; and two uncles, Didier Santens and wife Martine of Langeais, France and Dominique Ferrier and wife Anne Marie of Eymoutiers, France.
