Lawrence Merzon Clark, 85, of Tioga, TX, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in Denton, TX. Merzon was born November 6, 1936 in Tioga, TX to Earl and Ora (Foster) Clark. He married Leslie Marion in Tioga on February 20, 2000. Merzon is survived by his wife, Leslie of Tioga, TX; five sons, Randy Clark and wife Janene of Krum, TX, Dennis Clark of Tioga, TX; Brent Clark and wife Kim of Pilot Point, TX, Austin Dill and wife Amy of Van Buren, MO, and Samuel Clark; two daughters, Tammy Perry and husband Jerry of Sherman, TX and Brandi Grace and husband Ronnie of Sanger, TX; twenty-two grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Cloyce Clark and wife Mikie of McKinney, TX; sister, Dorothy Stuckey of Pilot Point, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Ora; brother, Harvey Clark; and sister, Geraldine Lawler. Visitation will be held 6:30PM-7:30PM, Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, TX. A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, May 13, 2022 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey with Roger Marsh officiating.
