Rita Mary Lubbers

Rita Mary Lubbers, 92, formerly of Pilot Point, TX passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in Richardson, TX. She was born March 1, 1922 in Pilot Point to William Joseph and Frances (Blumberg) Boerner. Rita married Clem Walter Lubbers on September 10, 1946 in Pilot Point. She is survived by her son, Dennis Lubbers of Pilot Point; two daughters, Joan and husband Jim Watson of Heath, TX, Charlotte and husband Harry Fowler of Fairview, TX; three step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clem; five brothers; and four sisters. A rosary will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Slay Memorial Chapel of Pilot Point and a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Fr.
