Ruby Jewel (Bowles) Rowland, 77, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 in Tioga, TX. She was born November 14, 1944 in Aubrey, TX to Harley Bowles and Anna Bell (Hall) Bowles. She married Bob Rowland on September 29, 1967, in Denton, TX. Ruby graduated from Pilot Point High School. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and took pleasure in providing care to others. Ruby enjoyed genealogy, plants, and shopping. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed greatly by those who loved and knew her. She is survived by her son, Bobby Jack Rowland and his wife Jinna of Lipan, TX; daughter, Anna Marie Cunningham and husband Mike of Murfreesboro, TN; six grandchildren, Harley J. Rowland, Colten J. Rowland, MaKena M. Rowland, Cpl. Christopher C. Kimbrell, James M. Kimbrell, and Payton M. Cunningham; brothers, Harley L. Bowles, and Herbert E. Bowles; and sister, Mary R. Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Rowland; parents, Harley, and Anna Bowles; brother, Harley F. Bowles; and sisters, Willie Pyron and Judy Brock. A visitation will be from 6:30PM-7:30PM, Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Slay Memorial Chapel in Pilot Point, TX. A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM, Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, TX with Harold Bowles officiating.
