Glevis Antonio Romero Garcia, de 68 años, murió el 18 de diciembre de 2023 en Denton, Tx., después de complicaciones por MDS. Nació el 9 de septiembre de 1955, hijo de Diogenes Romero e Iria Garcia en Villa del Rosario, Zulia, Venezuela. Glevis fue creciendo en un hogar humilde que fue convirtiendo en su mayor motivación para salir adelante, destacó en el oficio del comercio como Gerente - Propietario de Estacion de Servicio La Frontera por casi 40 años, siempre enfocado en hacer las cosas de manera correcta, un ejemplo a seguir sobretodo en su amor a su país natal, se apasionaba al hablar sobre política, temas de economía, Padre y Abuelo ejemplar, siempre buscando la manera de poder contribuir con el desarrollo de sus hijos y allegados en todos los ámbitos, disfrutaba bailar y cada vez que se presentaba la oportunidad la tomaba, a pesar de su edad siempre fue un alma joven para las fiestas pero con mucha sabiduría al momento de entablar una conversación Glevis fue un visionario que jamás dejó de soñar y tener fe de que el mundo podía ser un lugar mejor. Le sobreviven sus hijos, Gleimary, Iria Elena y Glevis Jose; nietos, Amanda, Jose Antonio, Elena, Vicente, Madison y Gavin, su hermana Nixia; y demás familiares. Glevis Antonio Romero Garcia, 68, died December 18, 2023 in Denton, Tx., after complications from MDS. He was born on September 9, 1955, son of Diogenes Romero and Iria Garcia in Villa del Rosario, Zulia, Venezuela. Glevis came from a home with humble beginnings. Those humble beginnings provided him with a good foundation as to what is important in life. He had a very good work ethic and he became motivated to accomplish much more in life. He built a thriving business as a Manager/Owner of a Gas Station, La Frontera for almost 40 years. He was always focused on doing things the right way. He provided inspiration to his employees and children and always led by example. He was especially passionate in his love for his native country, Venezuela. He was passionate when talking about politics and economic issues. An exemplary father and grandfather, always looking for a way to contribute to the development of his children and loved ones in all areas. He enjoyed dancing and would take every opportunity he had to dance. Even in his old age, he was always a young soul for parties, and had a lot of wisdom when starting a conversation. Glevis was a visionary who never stopped dreaming and having faith that the world could be a better place. He is survived by his children, Gleimary, Iria Elena and Glevis Jose; grandchildren, Amanda, Jose Antonio, Elena, Vicente, Madison and Gavin, his sister Nixia; and other family members. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 10:00Am at Slay Memorial Chapel, 400 S. Hwy 377, Aubrey, TX, with Deacon Moises Carmargo officiating.
