Jeffrey Judy passed away on October 2, 2022, after experiencing cardiac arrest in Houston, TX. He was born on May 29, 1987, as the oldest son to James Randall and Cindy Marie (Huelskamp) Judy. He was born in Naperville, IL and lived in Batavia, IL until his family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1997. Jeffrey was an avid member of concert and marching bands from elementary school through college. He graduated from Pinnacle High School in Phoenix, AZ in 2005 then attended and graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. After graduation, he worked as a counselor for two colleges then got a job at Southwest Airlines. Being a dedicated and valued SWA employee, he was promoted to Source of Support Representative and moved to Frisco, TX in 2019. Jeffrey was loved by all who met him and is described as being sweet, nice, gentle, had the best laugh, a great friend, best older brother, a fun uncle, affectionately known as Uncle Wubby, and a successful son. He enjoyed music and going to concerts, playing online video games with friends around the country, being a foodie and trying new restaurants based on good Yelp reviews, and was a dedicated fan of the US Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams. Jeffrey is survived by his parents; siblings; Jenna, Dave, Kiernan of Little Elm, TX and Jared Judy of Tucson, AZ; nieces, Michaela and Hudsyn; nephews, David and Kane; aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by grandparents; George and Delores Judy and Arthur and Janice Huelskamp; and great-grandmother Mabel Wooddell. A small graveside service will be held at the Little Elm Cemetery on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 2:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life for all friends and family to attend at One Off Event Space in Little Elm from 3:00pm-5:00pm. Please join us in remembering Jeffrey’s flair for wearing bright colors and casual clothes. We will be providing a light meal as we celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, Jeffrey’s family requests that donations be made to The Trevor Project or The US Soccer Foundation.
