Robin Bristow-VoidFebruary 2, 1964 – August 7, 2020Robin was truly a force of nature to anyone who knew her. She was strong, giving, optimistic and loved life! She was not afraid to love deeply nor was she afraid to fight diligently her several illnesses. She lived life on her own terms. God and her family were her highest loves and priorities. She adored her grandchildren Amina, Dionne, and Amethyst. Her beautiful children Raven, Sparrow, Hawk and Dove were with her at home at her homecoming. She is now with her loving son Jay. “Mother Bird” loved among other activities mentoring, helping people change their lives, water (especially Florida beaches), the mountains of West Virginia, rapping, dancing, music, making people laugh (she was a comedienne), Windstar Casino, travel, slow pitch softball, bowling and coaching basketball. Robin was a smart businesswoman. She loved numbers and worked as an accountant. Robin’s giving nature was shown when she started many non-profits to benefit others. She had said if anything was to be done for her in the end (and for her that was not even necessary) she insisted that her life be celebrated with music, dancing, bright colors, and laughter. That is how we will celebrate her, and you should too.Robin never met a stranger. She will be missed by family, friends who became family and all who knew her.Due to COVID-19 and limited space a private family celebration will be held. Your understanding is appreciated.
