Virginia Nell Kyle, 89, of Arlington, TX, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020 in Arlington. She was born February 26, 1931 in Holtville, CA to Alford and Connie Ellen (Young) Mayfield. Virginia married Kenneth Dearld Kyle on August 30, 1947 in Anson, TX. Virginia was raised on a family farm in Anson, TX along with her parents, two older brothers, James Earl and Marvin, and one younger sister, Fern. She married Ken at 16 and lived in Texas until Ken was discharged from the United States Army and with a loan from Virginia's dad, they moved to California with their infant daughter, Susan, in 1955. While living in California, Virginia had a second child, Steven. They lived in California until 1994 when Virginia and Ken moved back to Texas to be with their son, Steven and two grandkids, Carter and Katy. Virginia and Ken had been married 69 years before he passed away in Jan 2017 and she remained in Texas until her passing. She was always a hard worker whether it was cleaning the chicken coop, picking cotton, helping Ken in their Foster Freeze, or working in a business office. Virginia also enjoyed sewing, babysitting grandkids, and cooking meals along with her late husband, Ken. She lived a happy and fulfilled life and at the age of 89 went to be with her Lord and is joined with her beloved spouse Ken and other loved ones that have gone before her. Virginia touched and impacted many lives with her love and care throughout her life. She was a beloved matriarch, for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and will be sorely missed, until such time we meet again. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, and her unwavering support and ongoing encouragement of her family members. Her life of giving, loving, and serving others, gave her the greatest satisfaction, and there was never a matter too big or small that she would not come to the aid of her family. Her 89 years on this Earth also offered her much wisdom and guidance that she freely gave to her family: lessons that will last an eternity. Services will be held at Harbor Lawn-Mt.
